GRAP 3 RESTRICTION IN DELHI

Due to increasing pollution in Delhi, the idea of implementing GRAP 3 has been mooted.Which work will be banned.

The air pollution in Delhi has reached alarmingly high levels. Due to which the Commission has decided to take the third phase from November 15 on the basis of action plant due to GRAP response.The air pollution in Delhi has reached alarmingly high levels. This week and last Wednesday, the air pollution index in Delhi has been the highest in the entire country so far.On November 14, the AQI had gone up to 428 on Thursday.This is a very dangerous situation for air pollution. This is the first time that the AQI has been seen like this. The petitioners are in the G category which is considered to be very dangerous and the GRAP Response Action Plan Garbage III has been implemented by the Commission for Air Quality Enlightenment with effect from 15th November, 2020 to clear the accumulated waste
GRAP stands for Graded Response Action Plan. This group has come together as a response to the rising air pollution in Delhi and NCR or as a measure to reduce air pollution levels. Grapes are the third stage. Whenever the AQI ratio increases, that means there is a huge increase in air pollution. On the contrary, we are told that the worst condition is found in pollution. To prevent this, GRAP itself worked to take measures to ban it.

Restrictions in GRAP III

Number one infrastructure and house demolitions have been stopped as has the non-essential.

2.Without electric bikes, CNG cars and diesel international buses are banned.

Generally, GRAP 3 is applied when the AQI is in Stage 3.AQI 3 ranges between 401 and 450. GRAP 3 has been implemented in Delhi as the population is between 400 and 450. Since stage three is the most severe stage, or the stage itself, there is the most amount of pollution and the possibility of human loss increases.

GRAP 3 AQI structure as follows:

Stage 1 – Poor AQI 201-300

Stage 2 – Very poor AQI 301-400

Stage 3 – Severe AQI 400-450

Stage 4 – Very severe 450 TO MORE
